[As Requested] Video Tutorial for Setting up the Shaiya Private Server

Tutorial Removed as i am leaving this forum Say thanx to Danco1990 for his childish behavior.
these tutorials were posted under the username ShaiyaNemesis and he refuses to change his to something else even though i had it first so since i don't want his childish behavior to leak over on to me i am not him nor do i have anything to do with his server. he just took the name i was using and used it for his server as well. PEACE and Good Luck.

Need install SQL Standard or Eterprise first before u install SQL Express :)

NO you don't need standard or enterprise.

All i installed is in the tutorial.
MSSQL Server 2005 Express edition.
SQL Management Studio Express.
then the server no other SQL installs necessary.

I have never installed Standard or enterprise and have 2 Servers running and online right now using this method.

Express works flawless. Nocturnal is correct as usual.
Thanks given for saving me and many others some headaches. Thank you for making a tutorial that will help many others understand better. Alot of people learn easier by seeing rather than hearing or reading. However, this is just the start to operating a server. The real headaches come in maitaining that server. Goodluck to all!

I think this should be stickied for the time, effort, and credits. Can't ask for nothing more.

Check to see if PSM_Agant and PSMServer_Agent are running if not you will need to Server Setup Button then Apply Windows Registry and restart your computer

Self explanatory. Using windows vista or higher you got to give permissions or exceptions.

Anyone doing this on Windows 7? If so, how did you get past installing MSQL Server Management Studio Express. It tells me, (Installation of this product failed because it is not supported on this operating system). Is there another version of this product I can DL? I already have MSQL 2008 would that be effective?

Figured it out... very easy and over looked ^^ I'm running 64 bit that was for 32 bit xD

Now I'm running into the issue of, When I try to start all server services they all go Green > then couple of second they pause had this issue before. could never fix it... any help would be appreciated!!!

TY!

Check your password policy under, Local Security Policies, if "Password must meet complexity requirements" is enabled, then your gonna need to either disable it(bad idea) or change the Shaiya password from Shaiya123 to something more complex.
