06/23/2010 01:29 darkking49#1
Im like really nubish at making a server and was wondering if any1 could post a tutorial on how to setup it up?
I ran the dekaron auto server start thing, and everything said it was rdy, but then when i went back 2 my windows 7 and ran the dekaron difference files that i had downloaded (with the loginlist, and channelist at 127.0.0.1) it says cannot connect 2 server?
Did i do somthing wrong?
(everything in my server files is also set to 127.0.0.1, i dont think that makes it public but i dont want it public yet.)
Any help is appreciated:)
~Thanks:handsdown:

open a command prompt (start-run-cmd) and type ipconfig in there.
you'll see the ip-address of the server. input that ip on your login/channellist and you'll be done.

don't forget to use the same version.ini ! i mean the version.ini from the client has to be the same version.ini of the server.

Do I have to change any of the server file ips from 127.0.0.1 or can i just leave them at that and change the game files(loginlist and channelist) to the ip of server?

you ONLY need to change the ips in the client files (loginlist/channellist).
