Hi,

I have .ogg music files and they won't play in VLC player. Anyone know how to play undf files?

You'll have to download the [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] yourself.

Installed that codec, vlc player still says it cannot play undf format.

I downloaded it with the installer already there so you don't have to do it manually.

I've tried using all the media players, and none of them recognise undf format. I have the feeling you haven't tried playing undf music files and that you're just giving me top-of-the-head tips?

I've tried the codec and it works.

what media player did you use after you installed the codec though?

I installed super & copy, but there's a lot of options and when I select 'ogg audio only' then convert it comes up with an error. Nothing about undf format.

What? First, you're saying you got some OGG files. Second, you ask for advice on how to play UNDF files. My only guess is that VLC returns some error, and that UNDF is short for undefined. Installing the CCCP media codec pack usually resolves such issues. Give it a try.

I downloaded the CCCp codecs and still no players can play the files I want. Got it from this site [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

I heard the files I have are in 'xdelta' or something similiar? Does that remind you of anything?

Try [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] , this player will download codecs if they are not installed.

Upload the file you are trying to play, so we can analyze it/check if there's anything wrong with it.

Still doesn't play the music files I want, says it cannot find the codec! God damnit!

As I told you, please upload the file(s) here on the forums, so we can check if there are any errors in the file(s). That'd be a first step. If the files are okay, we can try to find what's wrong with your codecs/OS/whatever, but right now, that could just be wasted time, because we don't know if those files are the problem or something else.

Alright i will upload 2-3 files for you, like i said before there's something to with 'xdelta' but i don't know what that means.

Here you go dude, just 1 of the 400 files I want to be able to play, just 3mb

As I suspected, this is a problem with the files. Or rather, this file. Don't know about the others, but if they don't play, then they are probably broken as well. Can't play it. And I normally can play OGG files. Half of my audio library is in OGG format, most of the stuff on my portable audio player is also OGG.
