Of course I'm not going to sleep without giving you an update.
Glider works with 1.12 in test, but I'm not putting those to production quite yet. I've heard a lot of interesting stuff both on the boards and in email about new anti-detection in 1.12. Popups, server-side scripts for patrols, new client-side stuff (some in Warden, some in the app). You name it, I've heard it.
So I'm a bit creeped out about it, although there's a good chance it's smoke. Rather than flip the current offsets into production and have everyone suddenly start gliding again, I'm leaving them in test for a day while I do some gliding and others can play as well.
If you're as brave as me (not really that brave, mind you) and you want to glide, edit your Glider.config.xml and add this line to the middle somewhere:
<ForceVersion>Test</ForceVersion>
Next time you start Launchpad, it'll find its way around and work. Nothing too big changed in this one, although it seems like the size of a spell row in the database jumped 12 bytes.
As I've mentioned, I'm in major time destruction this week - it's family stuff, it's even more important than Glider. Of course, I'm sure you'd all agree with that. ;)
At any rate, I'm going to get some runs in with 1.12 and see what the hype is about. On the bad side, the patch has the game servers totally sideways and crashy, so I can barely play normally - Glider is stumbling badly. Maybe that's Blizzard's plan to catch botters, but I hope not.
