How can i add a NEW halo

ok i found the top gl/dl halos and edited them..i was wondering if anyone might know how i could add new halos...the exact same ones as top gl/dl just more of them to choose from. from the research i have done it looks like it might take sum work..but it is work im willing to do if sumone could give me a guide on how to do it. any serious help is appreciated. Thank You

Private server or retail wise?
Retail wise, not possible unless you replace an existing effect with it.
Private server wise, depends which client.

well im running a 5095 private server..what im wanting to do is make another halo..i want it to be the same thing as the top dl/gl same exact..then i can change the dds pic to say what ever i want it to is that possible. i would just use the other halos (top trojan,top archer, etc)but when i edit them they dont show up with transparent background behing the words for sum reason.[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] thats what top trojan,top archer looks like when i edit them. but top gl/dl edit fine.

you messed with the alpha channel too much?

Are you using gimp, ps, photofiltre, etc?
