Window 7 help

ok i been trying to make a server 3 month ago but i dont understand what is the problem. Making a Private server in window 7 possible or not? can someone post the link guide or window 7. P.s when i tried it always close down when it say login in. the screen disappear... any help with that too

I'm not sure if it works on Windows 7 or not, but I would assume it would work on any windows machine. As for your client closing when it gets to logging in, that is caused by your client not being compatible with the server files.

what client would best be given?

its works fine on wins 7.. im running my server atm on win 7 ultimate and everything works fine.. if ur server program/files crash.. right click on it and change the compatibility to windows xp and it will works.If ur client closed/say server down.. check ur oem.ini and oem.dat.

It depends on which server files you're using. Most releases here come with clients or tell you how to get the correct client.

it depends what server files you got

i got a client of the mannequeen database
some other persones got a client of the divine database
other persones got a updated client of the mannequeen database
some other persones again got a chinese client

it all depends on the version of your server files you use
as the server files and client got the same stuff

if the client can not read the server data then it crash
if the server can not read the client data then it refuse to login

i can suggest to search on this forum for a server+client release (there are a few of them here)

try to blacknull your soul.exe shortcut .

blacknull is to bypass autopatch
so what have that to do with the client version and with a crashing client ??
if the client crash then it means he can bypass autopatch or that his autopatch is working :s

umm i have myysql running... navicat is connected to it.. but i cant get accountserver working it just loads up and then i get error.. ive tried removing the server files and re-extracting them... not working....

Could you post a screenshot of this error that the account server throws up? Just by saying that it throws an error, it can be one of many things.
