Help making the game.exe?

Anyone mind giving me a tutorial on how to make a game.exe for a private server, ive gotten the original game.exe and a hex editing program, but idk how to switch the shaiya ip with my hamachi ip and get it to work.

Game.exe has a new Ip address

Search: 174.142.118.105 and change it to your Hamachi IP. Add 00 Bytes
Next: 172.17.10.205 to your Hamachi IP and Add 00 Bytes

terence, i am a total newbie at this. i followed your steps (instead of hamachi IP i used my server's login ip)
but i dont know what you mean by "add 00 bytes". could you explain how to "add 00 bytes"?

some programs changed "points" in different bytes
i think you can change this in your Hex Editor but idk how..
i used "Next Soft Hex Editor MX" its free.

Change the 2E bytes in 00

Example :

After u try to put 127.0.0.1 and you get around 3 more number on previous IP Number. Dont type ... Type 00 00 00 in the hex number

hmm ok here is what i did:

searched for the first IP
changed it to 127.0.0.1
changed all the selected "2E"s to "00"
searched for the second IP
changed it to 127.0.0.1
changed all the selected "2E"s to "00"
file>>save (saved it)
closed the hex editor

when i try to start game.exe it says "game.exe is not a valid Win32 application"
i am using Hex Workshop v6

i am not sure if i understood you correctly :confused:

i will try using HdX instead, if it works i will post within the next 10 minutes here.

edit: NOPE, HdX does the same thing :(

EDIT2: ok i figured out why it was saying its not a valid application, and fixed it. now, instead of just saying "checking server please check notice board" it shows a black screen for about 10 seconds and THEN says "checking server please check notice board". i am running the client without the updater, with 174.142.118.105 AND 172.17.10.205 both changed to 127.0.0.1, with the "2E" bytes changed to "00". what am i doing wrong?

uhm..
Use localIP 192.168.X.X
i think thats the point why you get the message "Checking Server"

C:\Windows\System32 -> Cmd.exe
type: ipconfig
and you see your IPv4 Address

im still lost, can someone make a tutorial with pictures?
