Well,
Some one maybe lasy like me or dont use cotobo and get pissed of by lag on TG due to many scatters and fires around...

So I made this one click 3D effect removal tool.

You just need to extract the zipped file into ini folder of your conquer installation.
ex: c:\Program Files\Conquer 2.0\ini

Double click on TG.bat will remove all effects, double click again put effects back ... (do this before you start Conquer).

Any1 please scan :bandit:

Ps: Added RemSounds. Look for it few posts bellow...

i'm no genius or anything but doing so still has you opening the conquer folder or creating a shortcut to the damn program inside the conquer 2.0\ini folder

it's much easier to open a application from desktop and simply place a check in the remove effects option and click on [Remove] same thing to restore it ^^.

I've also noticed that TG will at tiems hang causing my sounds to get really loud and carry out much longer than needed, also the client loading each sound for you to hear causes some lag issues. However a sound file with the exact same name as it's original only..empty ( 0 KB in size) it loads much faster and makes your TG nice and quiet..yes you can go to 'Options' and turn the volume down but it still has to load up the file in the client, so removing sounds will be and or should be even less lag in TG

so try it out

I figured out the exact code to remove the damage numbers if anyone wants to see, check this post- [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
Also here is the 3Deffect ini file that will remove the damage numbers- [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
Nothing else is affected except the damage numbers. Also if you want to remove all the effects just delete everything in your 3Deffect ini file and save it.

hehe the tool i posted above here does that only it can do it form anywhere no need of opening the Conquer 2.0\ini folder or wahtever.

It uses a filecopy control to rename the 3DEffects.ini to 3DEffects.ini.bak
and then deletes the original and re-writes a new blank one.

as well as a file exists function to look whether or not the ini.bak file is there and if it is it renames it back to the original file and deeltes the .bak ^^

Hi ppl,
This is another good tool. It removes action sounds (jump included).

Use it same as 3D effect removal.
(double click remove, double click again put back)

GMs can detect it in TG.

I seen people get thrown into bot jail many times because of it.

My friend paypalls, and he told the GM he uses it only to remove effects, and the GM was like well don't use it anymore da da da, effect removal built in CO feature is in progress.

See how long it takes for TQ to implant that tho.
