How to modding a client

Hi all

I was wondering if someone can help me whit some links to get programms to making my own weapons skills armors monsters maps ect ect.

I hope you can help me because i want to make some stuff for the servers.

My german lenguage is not so good so plz everything in english if it is possible.

For making weapons you need something like 3D STUDIO MAX (very expensive) for editing textures of anything photoshop or gimp is ok.
