Here is how u can connect in wow private server.
First what u need is WoW!
Second u have to downpatch witch happens this way go in World Of Warcraft/Data/ folder then delete patch.mpg and then run repair.exe. Then go download for example. full 1.80 patch.. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] here u can download that patch. (many servers is running that patch..)
next u need server where u can connect.. i think the best one is Raidens WoW (always full), but i put here how to connect in that server: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] u have to download this u get LACD what is old version so that will update automaticully or if that dosen't happen download update from here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

In order to connect to the server at all, you need the tell WoW the location of it. When you install the Raiden patch, it automatically changes your realmlist.wtf. This is a wrong address. The real address should have a 2 in it. Open up realmlist.wtf in Notepad or your choice of text editor, and delete everything in it.
Now put this: set realmlist rwow2.ath.cx
save and exit then..
You're pretty much done with the set up to connect to Raiden's WoW. All you need now is an account. Click the Account Signup & Status link in the navigation. The very right button should say Sign Up. Click this and simply put in your desired username and password, and it will immediatley make an account for you.
You can only make an account while the server is up.
Now load lacd_client.exe and it will open WoW for you.
Note: You cannot connect by running WoW.exe, you must either run lacd_client.exe or the shortcut on your desktop named "Raiden's WoW"
Edit: Someone had trouble by running the shortcut. If the shortcut doesnt work for you, just run the lacd_client.exe straight form the WoW folder. Click Here To Register...] go register in forums and then u can make raidenswow account- If wow doesn't open in 30 sec's try load lacd client again. Can take sometimes 4times.
If u get disconnet after connected that means server is full...
If it says unable to connect then go watch ur realmlist.wtf and watch that is :
set realmlist rwow2.ath.cx or server is down..
The dragon won't go away!
This is sometimes caused when trying to run the lacd_client.exe, and the dragon picture won't go away and nothing will happen. First, check to see if your version is 7.7. How, you ask? When you see the dragon picture, look in the top left of the picture. If there's nothing there, you need to update your lacd client.
If it DOES say 7.7, all you need to do is close the client, and try to run it again. Simply trying again will make it run.
It's stuck on Authenticating!
Answer: Remember guys, this is an emulator, not retail WoW. It's gonna have it's major bugs. Just try again. It'll go away after a few tries.
