[HELP] Dynamic/Static IP

I have downloaded the server and client and everything from this site (by the way you guys are awsome! :)) but i cannot seem to get my IP to work. I have a Dynamic IP and my internet service provider will not allow me to get a Static IP for whatever reason. I have a DynDNS account and a No-IP account but I am not sure what to do with either of them. I have all my server files just set to localhost (all the IP's are 127.0.0.1). I don't know if this is right? Or should i have those IP's set to the DynDNS ip? Currently when i change the IP in oem.dat/.ini the game says logging into server for a second then the client abruptly closes.

Please help me! I will be very grateful! :)

P.S. I know my DynDNS works because i am currently hosting my website with it.

set them to the IP for dydns.

How do i do that with the shell.dat in gameserver though? the ip is to long for the top row and would i include the http:// ??

Yes it is, that is a totally different issue, but thank you for the help.

If you got proplem with changing ip so u have to set the [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] it will help you also use ur no-ip account to update ur ip

No my problem is when I use my actual IP address in the oem.dat/ini i can login and play, but when i switch it to the ip address of my DynDNS account it says the server is in maintenance.

yup i also have got this proplem but i cant connect with DynDns account or No-ip also but the big proplem in the dynamic ip when u start ur server and ur ip changes you have to change it in ur cofigs and shill (as db side ) so yo have to restart the server as me my ip changes 3 times per day so i have to restart the server 3 time and thats non good i didnt find a solve for that exept getting static ip , VPS or getting atool like DynDns which can change the ip in the db files auto !

Glad to know I'm not the only one with this problem :) I just wish someone knew how to solve it.

Hmmm very interesting questions and problems but i do believe this has been solved before when most of the Good coders was here.

Could be a little more specific man? thread? something to search? simple walk-through? I have been trying to solve this problem for a REALLY long time, and haven't found anything so far.
