Patching via Updater

Ok guys, I am at a loss here.

I am using lilpro's decrypted files and game.exe

I have successfully got the updater to download from my server. Upon completion it states that update was successful at the bottom of the updater.

However, once I am in game, the changes are not reflected. Any ideas?

Patch files were made using ZS's SHAIYA_MAKE file and directions provided here:

As I said, the updater connects, downloads, extracts, and updates. According to the updater it was done successfully. But once in game, no changes are being reflected from the patch.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

it amazes me that nobody knows...

c'mon guys, please? it's not like i am just lazy. I got the server going. I did the updater myself. I figured out how to make the patch files...it is the end result that is confusing me. According to the updater it was successful, but no changes are reflected...

what am I missing?

I managed to resolve this shortly after posting on the issue.

It was really nothing more than a matter of better understanding of what was said in the linked post in the OP.

If i can find the time, I will post a guide as it has yet to be covered to any real depth within a topic of it's own.

Oh, and if you read the post that is linked in the OP, ignore the comment that was made about using .rar rather than .zip files.
