Botjail

Does anyone know with any amount of certainty if modifying a jpg in the minimap folder (for grotto5) will be caught as part of the mass bot jailings recently? Assuming this is the only edited co file I have and no other bots or proxies.

i dont think that they can know that u edited ur map.jpg .

yes they can they have a program (or the staff) goes in your computer and takes a screen shot of your screen see an edit..... BOTJAIL

well from what i've read they are allowed to i havn't read the TOS but from what people who have said they can

They are allowed to monitor our processes while conquer is running but I don't think that they are allowed to take screen shots from our pc

It uses a function that can capture the whole screen, but as far as I can see it only captures the CO-client.

They can just easily compare file md5 checksums, but that's really just unpractical to check each and every file with the server unless their's a file with the correct checksums.

i have lots of map edits and I'm not in botjail... also a multi and no cracked .dll file and use SV... My guess is that they are jailing proxy users because of the speed and annoyance they cause...

why i only use edited map and lately my char in bot jail now?
no bot no multi no crack:rtfm:

i got botjailed using a client that only had the music of the starting screen removed, no other edit. guess i got very unlucky...
