Patching Csro fails

Hey all,
i wanne patch csro because i wanne try it and downloaded the patch file 1.60 to 1.65 after downloading the 1.60 client. But there always comes an error:
???'"Silkroad"
"Silkroad" ???,???????

what did i do wrong?

1.do you have serveral silkroads installed?
make sure that csro is in the path the program shows.
2. try renaming the patch's name to something like asdhu.exe
3. run it with applocale(chinese simplified)

oké i tryed and if i run it with applocale i get a chinees error in same way like the one with the ?? but with chinees letters

1. Change the name of your cSRO dir to Silkroad.
2. Put the patch in the dir and change the name to "Patch.exe"
3. Try to run it with or without applocale.
4. OPTIONAL: Change the dir name back to what it was.

still not working with redownloading again also not helping,
could it be because i have windows 7?

Heb hier ook Win7 (x64) en het ging perfect.
Als je ultimate hebt, download dan even zo die Chinese Simplified optional update.
En zet je system locale naar Volksrepubliek China.

No, it can't be because of Win7.
I'm using Win7 (x64) and it worked perfectly.

wat bedoel je met chinese simplified optional update?

offtopic: en bedankt voor de lockerz invitatie ben er nu volop mee bezig hahah, maar hoe maakte hij zo'n invitatie link vn jezelf? ik kan alleen via mail men vrienden uitnodigen via lockerz zelf :)

would you mind posting english translations, so that english people can understand what you have said? otherwise i'm afraid off people reporting you due to wrong language usage, which would be pretty unneccessary i think.
also, if people experience the same problem , and need a solution this would be a help right away!:)

even if not, netherlands is for germans very easy to understand, so it should not be a problem.

check it, its safe lol ...

it just changes the registry entry for csro to the current folder of the right silkroad.

so the patch "knows" where to patch...

do u think i would post a virus and add the pics? i could cheat people alot easier :P

It's not that I don't trust YOU, but I don't know that I can trust the source where you got it from.

Btw, can't you just use the vbs file that is provided in the archive?
