unconfirmed xp bug

The way the XP system works is kinda funny.

So the person/group who gets the tag gets the xp based on the dmg they have done (it's exponentional, but I will use a liner example).

Lets say you burn a mob 60% of the way and a lvl 60 comes and 1 shots it, you will get the majority of the XP we will say 60% (it's more, but this is an example). It's proportional to the person who did the most dmg vs all other dmg done to it independant of each other.

Lets say you burn a mob 60% of the way and 2 lvl 60's (not grouped) each hit it once for 20%. You will get 80% of the XP.

Lets say your lvl 40 and you tag the quartermaster outside BWL. 40 people waiting to raid (not in the raid yet) hit him once. You get an INSANE amout of XP. 5500 was the most I got for 1 kill and I recived several 3-4k's.

There's an additional rule to it. Depening on the level range of the person who tagged the mob, and the one finishing/killing or even taking partly it's hp from the mob away.

Let's just put it this way, if the mob is GREEN or YELLOW or even RED to the 'helping' (so he didn't tag it, but someone else did) person, then the person that has it tagged will recieve 100% of the XP the mob, normally gives, REGARDLESS of how much dmg the helping person produced.

Anything below it, like say, GRAY, will take off %, and thus, will always recieve less xp from it

Tashi's BEST way to lvl: Get a friend, when your 45ish, and you can hit 48lvl mobs (these will show GREEN to a lvl 60) you will benefit full XP from the mob if you tagged it. So, you and him, go kill some lvl 48 elite - These, will give around 800-1000xp to the person tagging them. Best way to lvl, assured.

(There is no difference in killing a 48 or a 60 elite, so take anything from 48 on - just make sure, they're red or yellow to you. Anything from Green, to gray, will give less xp, and thus siginificly reduce the xp you'll get from it.)
