Please post all basic mods in this thread to keep everything in this area, you may discuss whatever you would like, but keep all Aika Related things within this thread until it gets it's own section.
Basic Mods 1. BGM Editing (How to listen to your own music in game) - Confirmed, this does work.
This is fairly simple, go into your Aika folder (C:/gPotato/AikaOnline by default) and locate the folder BGM, this is where all the music for the game is stored. Lets do an example, lets say I want to listen to "Rock N' Rocks" from the OST of Soul Nomad, instead of the music in the Desert, I simply take the MP3 file I want, and rename it DesertWind.mp3 and replace the current DesertWind.mp3, and ta-da, custom music in game. Always make sure to backup whatever song you are replacing, that way you can put it back if you want.
Basic Mods 2. Effect Swapping (Change the visual effects of skills) - Confirmed, this does work
Fairly simple, same basic principle as swapping your BGM. Locate the folder labeled Effect in the Aika Online default folder (C:/gPotato/AikaOnline) lets do a simple Dual Gunner skill swap. We'll change the effect from Black Rose (The aura you get around you) to that of Bloody Rose, to do this you're going to locate the file DGBloodyRose01.jit and Copy it, so you have 2 (Don't wanna remove the effect from the other skill) Rename DGBlackRose01.jit to DGBlackRose01Backup.jit or move it somewhere else, so you have a back up and can return the skill to normal if you want. Alright now that you have two DGBloodyRose01 files, you're going to take the one you created and rename it to DGBlackRose01.jit, load up the client and see how it looks! Cool isn't it? Experiment with other classes effects and find what you like best!
Oh and from what I can tell, this is the list of the classes by what the file name starts with
DG - Dual Gunner
WR - Warrior
CS - Paladin
SN - Rifleman
MG - Cleric
NM - Warlock
Semi-Advanced Hack 1. No Launcher
The .rar below contains a modified version of XPva03.dll, I got bored and started jumping random calls, and I can now load the client without the launcher, if someone can get a hold of the earlier X-Trap, this can fix the detection of the Aika Bot, so please anyone who hasn't updated their X-Trap, or has an older version of it, and the AikaBot upload it here so we can start using it again, by launching directly with the client, X-Trap shouldn't update.
