Sorry to bring your hopes down, but you won't get too much help here.
This forum isn't a supporter of binaries.

Mods in the EO section don't seem to know this.

That's a pretty touchy subject. Warez can be defined as the modification, duplication and spread of software without the expressed consent of the copyright owner. By that definition, and what you've just said in your post, wouldn't all DDS, DAT, INI, EXE files linked to on this site that have originated from the Conquer Online client apply to the no-warez rule also?

uh nope , cause their a .dss a picture file not really a file that TQ created . they made stuff like .c3 .

It goes without saying, if someone has been able to create their own DDS file, then it isn't a modification, but color edits and simple customizations are. But that's only one file type you're talking about when there are plenty more.

Warez are currently a very grey area, however since the rules in this forum state that Conquer Binaries are not permitted, then they are not permitted. However since the rules in the EO section do not say that they are not permitted, then they are allowed. That is the current situation.

Also since the Warez rule in the epvpers forum is of their own definition, not anyone elses, then you are permitted to distribute client files.

I think we can leave this thread at that.

Closed.
