If i understand your question. You might not use the english pk2.
Use Silkmod or db-bot and press > English patch
Else download a english media pk2.;)

First of all check if your Internet is good, and second your computer.
if both is fast enough to run silkroad. Then check if it's your bot.
Db-bot gives me lag.. sometimes...
Else try restart your router / computer sometimes .)
Or check if you have any viruses and clean up...
