[Guide]How to change the Pk2 from Russian to English.

Well it is something easy to make.


What i need ?...
Pk2 Tools from Drew.
Pk2 in russian. ( original )

Pk2 Tools: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Ok, let's start.

Open the Pk2 Extractor, select the Media.pk2 on russian, then click on open, extract the file called ''type.txt''

Open it and is something like this.

Code:
Language = "[COLOR="Red"]Russia[/COLOR]"
Country = "Russia"
LanguageTabIndex = "7"
GameType = "Silkroad"
GameGuard = ""
MarkFTPAddr = "files.silkroad.ru/SRO_CREST"
MarkFTPPath = ""
and change this.

Code:
Language = "[COLOR="Red"]English[/COLOR]"
Country = "Russia"
LanguageTabIndex = "7"
GameType = "Silkroad"
GameGuard = ""
MarkFTPAddr = "files.silkroad.ru/SRO_CREST"
MarkFTPPath = ""
from ''Russia'' to ''English''

Close and save.

Open the Pk2 Editor.

Click on ''File'' > ''Open'' > Select ur pk2.
and on the first window ''Select File'' and select the file ''type''.

Then import to the pk2 ''Import'' and thats all, the game is on english now:).

Cheers.

Make an backup of ur Media.pk2.

Yes, or make an backup of the media.pk2

uhm how do you open it, i cant seem to find the extracted one.

the file will be on the same folder as the Pk2 Extractor.

sorry for double post but when i do all that, i get stuck on the pk2 editor, i get an error:
cPk2Writer::Open: There is a problem accessing the GFXFileManager DLL. when trying to open the media.pk2

PROBLEM SOLVED: i had to move the media.pk2 file from sro folder to the pk2tool folder. and then it worked thnx guys!

i got an other question .
when i want to creat a new char and i wrote with englsih letters an error came : invalied letters.
But when i change my keyboard into russian ,so i cant write in russian it also says invalied letters . it cuz of the media or whats wrong ? :/
