[REQUEST] Website

I would really like a detailed guide or some on-on-one help from someone to help me make a website. I have found many website files on the forums but no guides of any sort on how to use them or how to set it up. It is possible I missed one on the forum.. but unlikely. I don't really care how the website looks as much as that it works. I really care about a register page.

Anyway ty for your time

I downloaded Xampp, emptied the file htdocs, and put my web page in there. My server is running on hamachi, so i put my hamachi ip address in the configi file. Then i started the Xampp control panel, but now what do i do? I tried starting the mysql server (a guess) but the web page wouldn't load in Mozilla.

Thats how it should look like and after thats being done, You can just put your IP in the Address bar and it should display whatever in htdocs..

FileZilla is optional.. i have a FTP, so i use that..

And you dont need that Wamp5(traffic signal sign program lol) if mysql is working on xampp

Thank you very much, but do people have to be on my Hamachi network now to see the website?

If you are running hamachi then yes, they must be in your network.

Nope, Not if your're using Xampp.. They just need your ip.. Or make a No-Ip account.

Ok tyvm. :)
I will look into it.

Alright I got it so that i can get the webpage up by typing localhost or my hamachi ip in address bar. But I don't think anyone else can connect, my external ip:76.64.116.150 and internal ip:192.168.2.2 I may not have configured the hosts right.

When dealing with hamachi, typically you dont need to edit any of the http.conf file settings. The hamachi should set up the virtual network for you. All your users need to do is:

1. Join your network.
2. Open a browser and navigate to your HamachiIP/index.php

Yes i know that, and that works fine, but i was trying to follo spongeboxes guide so that they don't have to connect to hamachi first.

Where it says 192.168.2.2, replace with your IP

I still don't think it works, but i'm not entirely sure. When i type my own IP in the address bar i get "Access permission is currently denied" and always have.
