S3 Client Dowload Options Ups and Downs

REQUESTING ANY MOD TO CLOSE THIS THREAD SINCE A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE POSTING STUFF NOT RELATED TO THIS THREAD.BTW, I'LL BE MAKING A NEW THREAD FOR THOSE REGARDING THE INSTALLATION SINCE THIS IS A BIT OUTDATED


I made this thread to help people learn more about the download options of GC S3.

First is the direct download:

The ups:
1. Less download time
2. No other applications needed to download
3. Recommended for those who have FAST and STABLE internet connection
The downs:
1. You need a FAST and STABLE internet connection (which I believe not everyone has)
2. If something goes wrong during the download: loss of internet connection, accidental canceling of download, sudden loss of power supply,restart of pc will lead you back to square 1(download cancel, re-download again from scratch =(. )

Next is Torrent:

The ups:
1. Whenever you you shut down your pc, your download will continue again when you open it. Ex: I've finished downloading 27% of GC S3 client upon shutting down, upon opening my pc again, my download will start at 27% and will continue with this trend until download is completed.
2. No need to worry if ever your pc shuts down while downloading coz you can just continue it again :)
3. Recommended for people who can't stay online for the direct downlaod to fisnish
The downs:

2. Slower download time (can take you 3 days or more)

i recommend the direct download ..just download any download managers so that you can continue downloading even if your computer accidentally shut down...

it can greatly help others who still haven't download the season 3 client...sticked.

ouch!i dl my s3 in the direct way..btw..i can just press pause ryt?coz..it's still 0% sigh..

@sir noein: It's not for me but for the benefit of other people who still didn't manage to DL the S3 client, i bet they would appreciate it

@clone if your connection is fast and stable you can continue the download or like sir noein says, DL an indternet dowload manager so you can pause and continue your direct DL

well bro try using edit button then merge your posts before someone reports you bcoz uh you have a quite a lot of posts there that is double posted ^^

if u prefer to direct download use ORBIT DOWNLOADER if u want to use torrent i prefer uTorrent! i've finished dloading using uTorrent

only takes 2 hours for me to DL... copy nyo lang ung link nung GC..tapos download nyo...parang torrent lang..pero pwede sa direct DL..mabilis pa..^^

ask lang po . . normal lang ba yung season3installer pag open mo prang nag eeror ?
