thinking about switching my bard/cleric to a bard/ wiz
what are yours opinions, good idea or not?

It depends why you want to change. What is the main reason motivating your question ?

What don't you like about your bard/ cleric ?

What do you like about it ?

And you should ask yourself the main advantages of a wiz compared to cleric.

I guess we can say the attack. More different attack spells. Kills faster. Maybe you like better the look of robes who knows ^^

But they also die fast, 2H staff and robe equip cost a fortune, they have the biggest aggro so you need basically to grind in party or ..... you'll die alot.

Clerics wear light armor, they have a lot of usefull buffs when it's your main class, they can tank (not like a warrior but lot more then a wizz for sure). Very usefull in party.

They have poor attack (with only 3 different attacks, one is an absolute damage sucks a little, the other one takes 95% of your HP ... and trial/ justice cross is not very strong).

Maybe other people could add some advantages/ disavatadges about each class.

You must select in function of what you prefer.

The important here is not to be the strongest on the server, but to have fun with your character. To me playing a MMORPG ... it says everything ^^ it's to play with other, have fun, make friends. Of course we all love to be strong and kick ass lol but it won't replace everyday simple fun of playing.

i prefer bard/cleric, i have one and that build is awesome, just needed 50 MP and HP Pots to grind. Basically, you can heal your HP and MP, so if you're going to powerlvl someone, you don't need any MP pots.

I have both Builds and you have to ask yourself what you prefer more. A full supporter is in any party welcome, you can even join higher (lvl) parties and be either bard or cleric wheter is needed. Bard/Clerics are botable wears mostly LA and usually survives a bit more then wizzards. They got just a few attacks which arent very versatile however Booming Wave is just amazing :)
B/C are not rly useful for Unique Hunting, you could go till Isy, but afterwards you will be ks'ed for sure by other Builds which do more damage. The most positive effect .. you have almost no urgence for pots and you heal your HP and MP.

Wizz/Bards are one of the most prefered Unique Hunters. Due to MovingMarch they lvl pretty fast and its a pain for everyone if some Wizz Bard is lvling nearby. They do great damage on Zerk and this makes them even survive on Giants. You have to wear Robe which makes you again faster and bring less MP consumption along .. pretty useful if you get to high lvls, cause the needed MP for each Skill can bring your MP gauge pretty fast to nearly 0 ..
W/B are always welcome in parties, either as SupporterClass if you are skilled, or Attacker.

Both are great OngKillers due to BardAttacks, decide what you prefer more :)

and if you switch from bard/cleric to bard/wiz.. make your wiz the main class. otherwise you have nothing about wiz as second class.

i think the bard/wizz is better because of the powerful attack of wizz and the fast of bard :D :D :D :D
