Torredo made an interesting thread recently that might help get you pointed in the right direction to learn some stuff. Although it's a bit over my own head since I'm wholely ignorant when it comes to programming, check it out, you might like it...

Like I read in someone's sig.. "Give a noob a hack and he'll be a leecher. Teach a noob how to hack and he'll contribute to the community." Or something along those lines.. >.>

Most noobs would like to learn how to hack and make programs, etc. but when they see how much crap you have to read probably majority of them will quit right away or not even start and the others are either too lazy or have no time. Probably only like 5% of the people who plan on learning some kind of computer language, actually do learn it to the point where they've mastered it and can easily make bots out of nothing.
