Heres a Tip for the mods

There are now so many topics pinned that only FOUR non-pinned threads display on the page.

WTF?

When you abuse pinning to an extrememe like that, it really defeats the entire purpose of pinning. Please, for the love of Pete, create a damn "pin limit" or something. Anything.

Looks like this thread was moved to this section but I can tell you must have posted this in the guides section, that part of the forum is pretty overloaded with pins.

I've requested unpins before, even wrote a detailed comment once about exactly why some of the pinned threads are unworthy of being pinned and thus, take up even more space on the Guides section main page. Nothing's changed, that section is still a huge mess.

A possible solution for the mods to look into is this: Make a new forum section which explicitly will be for the pinned topics of all the other categories. Then if something is believed to be important, pin it at will into the new section without fear of overloading the main sections with too many pins. Or... Just go through and unpin about 90% of the current pins which very few people care about or ever read anyway IMHO.

Yes, I agree, there's way too many pinned topics, especially in Guides section.

And also I'd liek to ask, does the "Report this post" option even work or do mods just ignore it?

Yes i agree get rid of sooo many of the pinned topics... I never even bother glancing at the pinned topics anymore... just a waste of time lol big mess, too hard to find anything in there o.O

They have so many similar pinned topics to, I made a list once and was going to make a poll..

There are lso many old ones there...CRISTAMS POTS..i mean cmon -_-

I htink like the subcatogory of cotobo, there should be a sub catogory for guides and templateds for socketing and mining..because so many threads are about that

Yeah the cristmas pots thing still up there suprised me, i kept thinking i had my calender screwed up

And i agree with the sub catagory thing that might save time and space

I suggest a forum titled PINNED and move all the pinned there :D

I got an idea....all the forums would have a subforum called "pinned"... so like the eploits have the subforum "COtobo .40"? would that sound ok?
