5165 Database

Okay so the database has been confusing me the past few days, is the 5165 capable with navicat? Cause i go into it, new connection,msql,type in the info then ok, then i right click, new database, then i right click again and click execute, then i find the database msqlfile, then i press ok (im not sure if i was supposed to do that its what i did on powersource) and then nothing happens, i cant see any characters,accounts,mobs,mobspawns etc.... Or does it already have a database built into the source?? Im confused <3

Depends on which version you are using, there was a sql one released, and then there is the regular flatfile database one.

Ummm use Impluse one pure and yes working on Navicate also you can code your own NPC and no tunneles with it just modify config.ini file and a configrations at the source by c# then make new database using appserver and it would work with you goodluck:cool:

arco im using the 5165 source and machine ive changed the config.ini file so it has my root name and pass, but how do u edit the database thing in C#, i can only code npcs (thanks to arco)

asser's source, alex's source, and then tanels source.

well create a new database name its like your sql database name then excute it to navicate and make refresh then edite cofing table and change that to your server name also IP and then create a charhcter from account and login its simple goodluck:)

The database all depends on which 5165 he is using exactly.

Im using the 5165 source from your tutorial

Then you don't need to mess with mysql at all.

thanks :) and i know ive downloaded a few of them and even had a look at a tutorial but he lost me at one point and confused myself :(
