Ran through another problem.

So I found Dekaron Abnormal's Client (Action 7) and I tried to set it up and use its client because it has the full action 7 in it. Needless to say. I took its share folder out and placed it into my server folder. (the one with the cast/messenger/dekaron/login/and session in it.) I placed the new share folder in there and I have changed all the Ips and everything with mine. So I try to load up the game and i can log in. Then I get to the char select and make a new char and try to log in and It gives me a message "Cannot connect to the server".

If anyone knows what I did wrong please enlighten me.

BTW...(The server starts up perfect)(The cast/dekaron/etc starts up without any problems)

it's easy, the ports setting is not correct. check all the ports setting.

Um well I have my action 6 client running and to get that running in the first place I never had to mess with any ports, only ips. If you know where I can find these ports coudl you post exactly where please. :D

use search buttons. i believe you can find ans here. good luck.

Oh yeah btw. why is your sg website down?

i didnt run it. cos its all in build in my computer. the ports setting in your share is not match with the setting in the dekaron server exe. check all the port setting for client share, server share, and dekaron server exe.

My Cast port : 7882
My AI-Server port : 7886
My Session port : 10000
My Messenger port : 7883
My Dekaron port : 50005
My Billing port : 1433


Now I need to know out of the list of share files that I have to make sure they are the same.

Okay so here's what I get once I load my server.

For some reason when I use the DekaronStartUp program it doesn't catch this...
So If anyone knows the problem feel free to let me know...

To be honest, you cant just use someone else's share folder. And the server owners know that so they do something really tricky. If you look in the Dekaron Rusaki data/share/item/itemset.csv you will notice that the only thing in that file is "Blind was here and he ate all the contents"

Which means that the server owners/devs weren't stupid and to prevent people leeching they took the server sided files out of the client files, thus making it impossible for us to just take their share folder and throw it into our server files.

Well I have Abnormal's FULL client (unpacked). Their client is 100% no copy right and all files they use are public. So I looked at what you said and In every csv file there is info. So what I did was took their client and used their share put it in my server folder started it up and can sign in to char select screen. But once I try to connect in game. BAM "Cannot connect to server" Makes no sense to me.

If you know an action 7 client that i can use without having this problem give me a link :D.

OK in the share folder... The loginlist and channellist have the IP's of the client you took the share from. What you need to do is change those IP's on the server to 127.0.0.1 in both files and restart the server. This should help you fix your issue.

to prevent ppl from using our customized NPC's and quests the NPC file has some errors, just use another NPC file :)

So yeah I accually have my own Ip in those files. 127.0.0.1 is for Local mine is public (hamachi)

So are you saying that I can use for ex: action 6 npc files for this action 7 npc files?

Also where do I locate the npc files?

It still should work the same way with the local IP... Just try it and see...

I did and I still got that damn error...As pieter said Its something that has to do with the npc error thing. So I really need action 7 npc files.
