[HELP] Creating Newer Server

I am a nub trying to start my own server just for kittens and gigs. I followed [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] guide to making the server. I got it fully working and everything in like 5 minutes but it I realized the client in the guide is now out of date. I was hoping someone could tell me what i would have to do to make a newer client work on my server (the one with godmaps, god skills, tiger mount. etc). If that isn't possible could someone just give me a very brief guide on how to make a new server.

Yes I am downloading that atm, its almost done, but what do i have to do to get it working? Do I simply extract both the client and server then just run the same few programs like that I did with the older version (Account Server, NPC server, Message server, and then MySQL)?
