Hi. I'm just starting to get into this server stuff because it really interests me, and I was just wondering: what server patch is the best and what source should I start with? I like ninjas... so I guess that would be 5095 or up?

Well, I don't really know how to code very well. I'm taking a class next semester. Is there a source that anyone can recommend that might be stable or close to it to start on?

Well, I started on this weird Elite-COEmu source that's complicated but I'm starting to understand how everything works. What patch is yours going to be? What NPC system are you going to use and dmap system? Is it ini, flat, or mysql?Quote:

I didnt put exactly patches, becuz i serious can't remember so i amde it +, - and circa :P
Under 5000: For classic without cps and dbs etc.
5065 under: If want classic, but with shoppingmall etc. (No talisman)
5065+: For ninjas, talismans etc.
5165: If want horses etc.
Immunes.. (5257): If want it so close at real co as you can (Take alook at their site for know what it is, but is with teratodragon etc.)
