Question about a scam

Ok i have a friend that got his account hacked and the person bought dbs from his bankcard credited them to a n00b account lvl 70 and transfered all the cps to another char. he says they just banned the n00b account lvl 70 and he kept all the cps? is this true? wouldnt all account that got those cps be banned? any feedback? thx

hmm i thought about this, mabe its differnt if its with dbs and the GM's actually do some real work, but a few years back my account got hacked and they couldnt get one of my items i wasnt sure y not and i was thinking well how the hell would they not be able to get an item

so i figured mabe they sold it and than put up a stancher in market for like ****** gold on a noob account than bought it and than traded they money on the noob to their main and deleted the noob

that sounds like it would work right ?

ok but i spoke to him today he said he used an IP from an internet cafe, ordered the dbs using paypal, got 10 codes then turned the DBS into cps bought new dbs from shopping mall went to desert somwhere dropped them on the floor his other account picked it up changed his IP again and deleted the paypal account. idk if he was lieing but u think that would really work? sounds good in theory butt... idk.
