Trainer?

I'm a little confused as to the actual purpose of a trainer. I read the guide on how to make one, and the only advantage I can see is activation convenience. Is that it or am I missing something?

some people are just REALLY lazy, lol...

it is kind of nice to be able to turn them off in a flash, in case a legit or GM walks by. But I think, even with a trainer, it's too late by the time you see them XD

That's pretty much it, they are just something you can make if you want to have all your best hacks in one simple app. Or if you are making hacks for friends. There's no actual difference (for hacks) creating a trainer or using a cheat table, except if you use a trainer you actually lose a lot of stuff like being able to edit the scripts etc. The only time when creating a trainer really does differ from just using a cheat table/injecting the scripts normally in CE, is if you code your very own trainer because then you can of course do whatever you want with it.
