[Need Help]Changing patch(eg 5165 to 5017 or 4351)

ive been wanting to know how its done for quiet some time now...
i just started getting a lot more into coding and kinda wanted to know how to convert some of the newer projects back to the good old days
is it a few packet changes?a different encryption?

could somebody try to help me with my little predicament?(im aware of the converting to 5165 guide)

patch up from the lower, then i can say a hint blowfish :)

Take a look at the socket system inflamed released.
It had blowfish for hybrid's.

Upgrading or downgrading sources is a matter of changing packets and might differ from encryption methods. Therefore, you should not try it if you never done a source on yourself.
