I sense you would get an idiot error when you read this post.

What the hell does Hackshield and server checking have in common?

I won't comment about whether or not its possible. Haven't seen it happen, haven't tried. Therefore, I have nothing meaningful to say for either side. In that event, it's probably best to not say anything.

Now, as for what you said, a server check doesn't tell hackshield anything. It's like saying "I'm going to fail my math test tomorrow because I didn't turn in my english homework 3 weeks ago". What? Might it be server checked? Sure. If it is, would it be possible? Probably not, at least it would be non-trivial. So now, you've done a server checked action. What happens? Nothing. Have you tried launching a 1 charge fireball yet? It's server checked right? Sure seems like it. Does hackshield go "Haha the server told me you did something illegal"? Nupe. Hackshield sits there, scanning for hacks.

You're talking about two very different things here, that work in very different ways. Hackshield's purpose is to look for illegal memory modifications. The server checks exist as a failsafe. They don't communicate. If you get past hackshield and tell a lie to the server, but the server catches your lie, it'll just reject your request, instead of telling hackshield to kick your ass.

Next time, if you want to post and look intelligent, say something true. Otherwise, you mislead people who don't know better, and make everyone else think you're an idiot.

So, I'd like to congratulate you. You've won my idiot of the day award. Unfortunately, due to high shipping costs, I am unable to ship it to you.

Now... If you want to gain some credibility, post something useful. Stuff like "____ is possible" (You know which thread I'm referring to) isn't helping anyone. If you want to be helpful, perhaps suggest where to look. Otherwise, just shut up.

So perhaps I could beg all of you other fail trolls out there (if you're a successful troll, and have a lot of thanks for it, then you don't need to worry about this post =D), stop looking like idiots.

Peace.

I don't think he means an actual Hackshield error, I think he means a Client error. Both error popups look very similar.

Well, pets do sit after a while of not moving when you are mounted. So, is it possible to speed up that time or something?

I would check the Pet AI files. Not the ones on the Pet AI folder though. The ones that go in data\db\ai\local.
