Better Drops

Ok, i've discovered something, which may or may not be true, you'll just have to try it out for yourself. :err:

First thing:
I am hunting at SlowApes, on a 103 non-reborn archer.

Second Thing:
I have my 100 trojan there for protection, ksing etc.

Third Thing:
I am defiantly getting better drops when the server time is late at night. Not for me, but for the location of the server, which is unfortunately at 5AM for me .

Evidence:
I hunted in the morning getting 5k kills (Server time morning) and got one met and a +1 backsword
I then went back at the servers night time, this time i killed 3.5k and got 11 mets, elite warrior armour, elite 1 soc wand and a DB.
The same happened the day after, in the morning i got 2k kills, and got NOTHING.
I went back at night, killed 500 before i went to bed and got a super tao robe..

I then tried it without my trojan there and got nothing  (Both night and day)
I tried it at snakemen and got nothing again..

I hope this helps you a little, im going to try it again tonight, and ill post exactly what i get.

i have noticed better luck hunting on my lvl 112 rb tro too. more mets and good items per 1k kills. takes alot longer to get 1k kils on tro than archer though.

As i read before on this forum, they said that a +1(or any other good item) is randomly generated to one player on the map. It might be true. Maybe late at night (server time), there are less players. That means there are bigger chances the HE will get a good item.

The people saying its based on luck, until you actually work for TQ you are completey bullshiting IMO.

Yes, it is based on luck. The item will not be generated to you if you have bad luck :D

Ok they're not BSing. Honestly why would TQ make a game and decide, hmm at 11 o'clock p.m. we're going to drop one dragonball and at all other times none. Umm? It's all random. From what I've noticed the longer it takes you to get more kills the better drops you get per kills. Say if you take a lvl 100 trojan vs. a lvl 100 archer. They both kill five thousand but the trojan will get better drops during that time because it took longer for each kill. This is my theory and I've yet to see it disproved. Sure occasionally the archer will get better drops, but it's all a randomly generated logarithm. Also the more time that lapses between each kill will give more of an oppurtunity for an elite, super or DB to appear. I think time is a huge factor, but not when, but how long.

The luck theorys shouldn't be thrown out the window so fast. If you recall, Conquer does have a LUCK feature. How else would 2nd Reborns get this skill incerase? Basically its just a setting that increases your luck in the game. Most games are made this way. Some games you get certain items per kills. Conquer has a system somewhat like that. In which random certain items drop per kills, per map. So... if your the only one killing monsters on the whole map, your luck greatly increases. This is true, how many of you have gotten 2+ dbs in one hunting period before? I have. Had the whole map to myself for a few hours, many great things dropped. Dbs, supers, elites, +1s etc.

Answer is YES it is based on luck, but there are ways to "increase" your luck. Including hunting where there is less people. Remember, its just a game. Anything is possible. And everything is based on calculations.

same thing with me, perhaps its because there is lack of players when its night here

and also iv noticed same with gems on my time night = more gems to me, maby cuz lack of players, i dont know, just my opinnion

No im not saying that at all. I have this theory:

There are a certian amount of things to be dropped everyday, but if no one gets them, then are more likely dropped when the day is almost over. Im not saying go hunting at 23:59 and ull get 500 dbs and 10 super boots :S

I believe they increased drop rate on items becasue they got rid of all the hacks.
many of my friends on my server have been getting way better drops now that the hacks arent working.
Considering GMs probably read this site, they knew alot of us would quit if we couldnt keep our cash flow going after the patch.

and its not luck, its all code

I dont know if its relevant to the situation, but I always get better items when my kill counter is above 500. If its any lower, I very rarely get anything even worth taking to sell to an NPC.
