Can someone please tell me how to send and receive packets or at least give me some links for explanations.
note: I am using C#.

A packet sniffer is not useful for conquer unless made by yourself.
You can hook the send/ recv packet functions from the winsock module when you DASM Conquer.exe.
Note that conquer has an anti-debug feature now which will close threads if a debugger is detected.

I have wpe but I am not sure of what I am doing with it lol. Well I know it reads packets including Conquer but I am still a little hazy on all of it, I am trying to get my head around hexadecimal also.

I have a rough idea how it works but I need to read on it a few more times. I have read a few guides and followed urls etc to get a better understanding of packets I have used Google also.

I thought it would be a good idea to learn more about it all because of having the sirhooks source to play around with and it seems since the latest exe has arrived and a need to know about packets is essential lol.

WPE wont work :P

Conquer packets are encrypted so you'll get a bunch of garbled up code that doesn't really mean anything.

well wpe will log packets being sent no problem... but they are in their 'raw' form. It has no way to decrypt the packets because it doesn't intercept the blowfish key (and even if it could, it doesn't have blowfish built in lol)

You are far better off logging packets using either a hooked client as Ian suggested or a self made proxy.

That being said.. if you need some info on proxies, packets or a LITTLE bit on hooking a client, check the sticky in the main discussion section.... although I know virtually nothing on hooking a client. I think it was Ian who posted some in that thread though clearing up areas I missed.

What about the packet reader in "D" that I think Clint posted? It opens etc but it doesn`t seem to read packets o.0? Or if it does then it does not give a description of the packets being read >.<

Packet compiler, not builder :p

Builds the packet struct for ya basically.

Oops yup my mistake it`s a compiler >.< Ahh well nevermind I will just leech proxies lmao. I have tried to learn about it all but it all reads like stereo manuals.

It's really not that difficult. The only difficulty is establishing a connection, decrypting, and figuring out the packet structure.

What about giving your namespaces/ classes appropriate names?

It's sooooo hard for me to choose :(

hmm did tq change the authentication server encryption?
EDIT: nvm figured out what's wrong
