Any information on Warrock Private Servers?

Hello. You've probably seen me hanging around in SRO department, but if you haven't I'm Omfgmoose, and it has come to my attention the Warrock scene is dieing. Purely from the hacks people are developing and downloading. Now, mind you I don't really care. It's just that, it's killing a game I love, and one that Gamersfirst has all but ruined. You all know, and so do I.

More importantly. I heard of a Warrock PServer source floating around here, and I have to wonder.. What has happened to it? Why is no one actively working on this project? Are there problems with it? Are there problems with Warrock p2p style? Couldn't we simply just create a fake master server since all Warrock's server does is record who killed who? (Correct me if I'm wrong the whole P2P throws me off) I'm just looking for information here.

If I can't be helped in this way, can someone point in a direction as to how I can learn to code private servers. I still can't find any documentation on how to even begin.

I'm no coder, I've learned a bit of C++ here and there, but from what I understand it will take a far better understand of Calculus and Trig before I get anywhere. So it might not be for me. Anyway, I'm straying from the point. Warrock NEEDS! Private servers. Call newb, Call it whatever, but how long as Warrock been around? And still, there are none. We could make Warrock a FAR better experience for everyone if we had just, one. Honestly.

In respect to Crunkx's wishes. I won't share any information regarding this topic. Unless the project stays dead for awhile. If it's going to stay dead.. It would be pointless to let them rot! However, For now. I have what I need. Thanks to all who posted.

I would much appreciate if you could point me in the direction of someone who has tried. I just want to know how they got started.

I believe I sent a few messages to this person. I can only hope he can at least point me in the right direction. I did download the server files he released, I never tested the, but I imagine they at least do something.

I already played on a Warrock Private Server but i can't remember the Website. Maybe i'll find later.

I did, better from the mouth of the horse too. Imo. If you do happen to find it, let me know. I remember seeing one somewhere.. I just can't remember where. They were still fixing the site from what I can remember

I got them decompiled. Very interesting. While it doesn't exactly help me.. I should probably post proof.

Eh, it's not exactly mine to do what I please with. I'm keeping that part to myself so as no one else manages to do so.
