To put some simple comparaison, with a car.
If you play yourself, you're sitting in the car, driving it.
If you launch openkore, it's just like you don't use a car, but a robot, with it's own weel
If you use openkore with the xkore mod, it's just like if you plug a computer in the engine who can drive, or just do something from its own, but you can still go in the car, and interact more freely, than just with a RC.
And if you use openkore to act like a proxy(nobody uses this but well, if you want you can xD), it's just like if you're in a simulation game, and there is a robot in a real car, who do stuff from it's own, or as you say it to do.
