I'm not sure if this works with the l2client, but you can try it with sockscap [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] (down atm, check google)

But in L2 is no IP ban. They ban your account ?!
Because the IP change every time you connect to the internet...

If you wanna see your current ip by using a webbrowser you gotta define firefox as exe that uses a sockets 5 gateway, not just only l2.

About ip's

Dialup you had a new IP every time you connected

With most DSL and cable connections your IP changes every week or so. Sometimes its every month. Most routers have the ability to release and renew the IP address. If yours doesnt, you can try unplugging it for a few mins, then plugging it in (some reports say it takes longer, if you REALLY wanna be sure do it overnight) then plug it in. Chances are in that time your ISP broke the connection and when you plug in again you get a new IP.

If not, often you can force the router to change its MAC address (not avaliable with all modems) which can also force your ISP to send a new IP.

If all else fails, try leeching internet off your neighbor's wireless :P
