I have Original Shaiya, Updated to last version, now when i start to search the IP number with HxD, i cant find.
Pls helpme to start this.
I use the Ep4, file posted in Forums, i need help to end this pls.

To fix your Session issue:
-Make sure all of your Protocols for MSSQLSERVER are Enabled and TCP/IP settings are correct. Check SQL Server Configuration Manager.
-All IP addresses in your server files are the same. psm_client/bin/config.
-That you are able to login without problems using SMSE under SQL Server Authentication.

To fix your game.exe issue:
-Start HxD and open your game.exe
-Go to Search, Find, and type in "GameExit" without quotation marks and scroll up a bit. That should take you directly to the list of IP addresses.

With HxD i see alot of ip...wich one i replace...or replace all??

Change "172.17.10.205" into "127.0.0.1"
Make sure to add null bytes(00) after the ip address in the hex section. In other words the hex should look similar to this when you highlight the ip address after change: 31 32 37 2E 30 2E 30 2E 31 00 00 00 00

ok i fix ip, run the server...but still sesion go to pause after a secs.
So i need help....
I run SQL first, then RunServer.bat, and then Shaiya, but nothing append.

when i fix the ip:
127.0.0.1 and null bytes to GAME replacing all other Ip numbers, but when i try to start always try to update to aeria site.

it happen when you just start the installbat, then if not all is suckses session pause look it up it was so to me it work fine now

I noticed you are using EP4 files. Did your EP3 server work before you tried EP4?

I noticed you said you run game.exe and it goes to the US shaiya updater...are you running game.exe directly or from a shortcut with start game?

No, my friend only try with ep4. I donwload the files from tutorial and continue to ep4, i dont have the ep3 databases too.

i use the shorcut with "start game".

If you are using the US Shaiya game.exe and US Shaiya sdata files edit IP address 174.142.118.105 to your IP address and use the shortcut so it bypasses the updater. idk about changing any other IP address, cause that's the only IP address I have to change to connect to my server.

If you used Professor's ep4 files without doing ep3 first, that may be where your problem is. You need to do the ep3 tutorial, making sure all of the arrows turn green. Then once everything in ep3 works fine, you can move on to Professor's tutorial. I suggest removing/deleting everything and doing a clean install of mssql 2005 and the server following the guides.

I highly suggest learning how to setup an ep3 server before moving into ep4.

You problem is your MSSQL is not setup correctly. You have to change the settings to enable remote connections. Also, your protocols all have to be enabled and set to your ip 127.0.0.1
