Anyone tried or has tried SMM if its a save route for a 1PC setup was thinking of going the DMA option but have heard good things about SMM any good providers or is it still a not known?

SMM configuration is highly complex; you will also need to flash the BIOS—using DMA is a better approach.

Using kernaim for MW4 and no issue here, will see how long I will last
Or you can try to play it safe and wait for DMA options but that's really more expensive
