Trying to prevent rust gameban again

Hello, I just have a few questions regarding Rust game bans, and I’m hoping someone with experience can help me out.

I’ve purchased a completely new setup, including a PC, monitor, mouse, and keyboard. I got tired of constantly having to buy spoofers and VPNs, and I understand that once an account receives a game ban, you generally have to accept it, even if it was your main Steam account with a lot of games on it.

I have a few questions about getting back into Rust and Rust+. Is using Rust+ still an option after a game ban, or is that completely off the table? I’m not entirely sure how it works.

Would starting fresh with a new setup be the best option? When it comes to getting a new Steam account, would you recommend creating one directly through Steam or buying one from a website that already has hours played and skins?

If I create a new account through Steam, should I wait before purchasing DLC or anything needed for premium server access? Also, does it matter how I play during my first 100 or so hours, or does that make no difference since I’m using a completely new PC and peripherals?

I’m just trying to understand how everything works and avoid getting game-banned again. I know changing my IP address is something people talk about, but I’d appreciate any advice from people who genuinely understand how Rust bans work.

If you have enough money sure, buying whole new setup is the safest option in my opinion.

I am just not sure about ROUTER Mac, if its tracked or not. Make sure to switch ip or use VPN too. Getting server banned through IP can raise suspision on ur acc and get u gsme banned intially. There are many good advices on rust cheating and being safe, you can find them here on epvp just search keywords.

Rust+ .. eh.. do u need it when cheating? Rust devs do a lot of work to connect dots when trying to hwid ban cheaters, to be safe, dont use it.

With the accoucts..

First thing is cerbeus.

Systém that tracks stats on given steam account on the hwid. Meaning that u can buy 5k hour steam account and cerbeus will see that it only has 5 hours on current hwid. So if u fuck up with high kd on low hours.. ur gone.

Another thing, admin can see ur stats on given server even if ur steam acc is private and even if u buy battlemetrics priavate.

And another.. ********, g2g etc.. u can find hundreds of steam acc claiming to have REAL HOURS. Its bs. They even they managed with ai that the farmed steam account will get real stats like stone farmed, sulfur kill and deaths and advertise it as "real stats" its not, kinda. A not idiot admin can see certian pattern from those farmed accounts which is like 95% of the whole marketplace.

The last time I wanted a legit account WITH REAL hours that I was able to see on battlemetrics which is super inportant browses through all marketplaces and from 1000 accounts there was like 5 max that are legit, real and not farmed. Theyre 200€ minimum with like 1k BM bours.. other games.. real human owned account.

Conclusion or ur choices:

Invest in real account with real hours and stats, just sort account by price and dont even look under 200€.
Ask seller for real steam link not just some fucking EXAMPLE, if they dont wanna provide it, fuck them scam.
After u got ur high quality account be sure to play really legit and keep ur kd "normal".. to avoid cerbeus.
Make everything public, add as many friends, groups, just look like ur passionate little kid.

Seccond option, buy 5 euro rust account, make it private, go on battlemetrics, buy premium for 5€ a month and make it private aswell. Dont forget, cerbeus is still a thing so keep it low first 100-300 hours.. but on private private profile id keep it low the whole time.

For the higher quality acc, after first hunders of hours u can be little more aggresive with kd and playstyle then on the private.

Use radar and little aim settings..

Avoid disconnected pls, -rep. Dtc and not working. Even custom server ac dtc too id say.


Those are things that kept me not banned in 2026.

So if I was planning on playing completely legit, no cheats or anything, what would you recommend given the information above?

If u wanna play legit, feel free to use whatever account u want youll probably wont get banned unless youre absolute monster. Make new "main", buy it of steam, buy ur fav games etc, and just dont worry about anything if ur not cheating.

The only thing you really have to worry about is your IP adress, if you have changed hwid stuff and you are no logner hwid banned, you jsut need to play legitt, and not play on a banned IP adress, there isnt much to it

What spoofer is recommended tho, i see so many is down atm. (Windows 10)

what do you mean? you dont need a spoofer if you are not hwid banned

I’ve heard I’ve needed a new router as well is this true?
