RestedXP GUIDE VAULT

Hello all, Decided to make my own thread for this tool. If you have any issues please remember to message me if your battle tag has any special characters in it and what you tried to import detailed reports are helpful and help resolve issues quicker.

I have confirmed if you are using the default restedxp from curseforge and using ur battle tag guides remain intact after updating.

Patched addon is just the base addon.. i have removed the already parsed errors and sped up import speed.
Btagless addon is for people that just want to install and play. Simple.

Which to choose? pick what ever you want. FAQ is now live on the site.

Added a backup site incase main goes down.

why you guys need the battle tag and not just give the code do we really need to do that ?

You have an option to import the string to your account.
Why would they give a code that would not import. Because it is locked to your account.

So he provides 2 options:

You can generate a string and import the guides yourself.
Or have the guides in the addon with no BN needed.

So he provides 2 options and you choose the one that is best for you :)

It's just me there is no you guys. Hopefully i can clear this up for you.
The battletag is due to restedxps encryption/decryption scheme. It's the same when you buy a guide from them it's tied to your battletag that's how it's designed
The btagless addon is a version i patched to allow no battletag but it gets all the guides for you. maybe i will add a menu to let people select which guides they want.

Wasn't rested xp forever supposed to have a leveling guide that would include dungeon quests and doing dungeons once?

Also still no RoL for example?

Are they any advantages/disadvantages between both options? Thank you for your work!

Am i right in assuming that if i use the string to unlock the full forever guide that everything past level 30 is the same as a normal classic guide until the devs have chance to update them?

The main reason i ask is because if i use the guide from Curse without unlocking everything it sends me a certain way but as soon as i unlock it using the string from the website the guide steps are in a different order

Id say they used it as a place holder most likely since games only beta that's my guess.

Games beta. Try going in settings and enable beta features. should be options>advanced settings. that should show the guides.

Great work m8! I've downloaded the battletagless version. Seems to work fine! I'm only getting errors regarding other zones ingame:[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Im not sure it has anything to do with the version or just a bug in RestedXP :)

(for some reason the insert image doesn't work).

which version of wow are u currently playing on?
i'm guessing forever? think i found the cause.

Anyone else had errors in undead starting zone when picking dungeon and not speedrun guide for Forever?

Just checked this seems to be an issue on restedxp side officially. undead, orc and tauren. Just pushed a hotfix redownload btagless addon. test it out.

Superb! But when you choose only Forever, SoD, and all other guides are coming with it.
