Synergy 5517 - Alpha Testers Wanted!

ABOUT PROJECT SYNERGY

Project Synergy is a heavily reworked Conquer Online 5517 project built around a stabilized and cleaned classic 5517 foundation.

The goal is not to take an existing source, change a few rates and call it a server.

A large part of Synergy's development has focused on the foundation itself:

[+] Removing obsolete and duplicated code
[+] Cleaning conflicting legacy systems
[+] Rebuilding broken runtime and persistence flows
[+] Fixing crash-prone systems through live testing
[+] Restoring incomplete native 5517 functionality
[+] Building new systems on top of a cleaner base

Whenever possible, Synergy preserves the native 5517 client, protocol and UI behavior.

From there, the project adds its own systems, progression and custom content.

CURRENT BUILD

Client: Synergy 5517 — v1.2.4 Alpha
Launcher: v0.1.16.2 Alpha
Development: v1.2.5

The new Synergy Launcher now handles installation, client updates, launcher updates and client repair automatically.

New players can install Synergy without manually preparing a full 5517 client.

Existing testers may also delete their old Synergy client and perform a clean installation with the new installer if they prefer.


SYSTEM HIGHLIGHTS

⚔ Guild System Rebuild

Permissions, member management, recruitment, announcements, Ally/Enemy relations, Guild Profile, donations, rankings and a heavily reworked 8-category Guild Arsenal.

📜 Native Quest Integration

Synergy content uses the original 5517 Quest UI rather than external menus.

Orientation missions, Daily Contracts and custom one-shot quests are integrated directly into the native client.

👹 Boss & Contribution System

Managed bosses use contribution-based rewards rather than simple killer-only logic.

Rewards can include CPs, Study Points, Souls and isolated rare cosmetic pools.

🗡 Monster / Spawn / Drop Rework

Monster-family fixes, respawn cleanup, density corrections, rebuilt hunting areas and natural rare +1 / +2 / +3 / +4 equipment drops.

💰 Item & Economy Work

Warehouse stack safety, Meteor Scroll payments, Lottery corrections, Bound items, Steed Packs and persistent item metadata have all received significant work.

✨ Class & Skill Reworks

Incomplete class mechanics are being rebuilt rather than left in their original broken state.

Pure Water's Azure Shield, for example, was rebuilt as a proper defensive team skill with targeting, range, cooldown, refresh and damage-overflow behavior.

🏷 Native Player Identity

Synergy uses the actual 5517 title system for features such as [OG], [VIP] and combined titles.

🎨 Cosmetic Economy

The CP Shop contains a curated selection of Garments, Mount Armors and native Accessories.

Other cosmetics are intentionally reserved for Bosses, Quests, PvP and future Events instead of placing everything in the Mall.

CLOSED ALPHA ACCESS

The current Alpha is closed.

Every tester requires an individual SYN code issued by the development team.

WHY A CLOSED ALPHA?

Synergy is still a development environment, not a finished public server.

Characters and progression should not be considered permanent, and wipes may happen when necessary.

The current Alpha is focused on:

[+] Finding edge cases
[+] Reporting bugs
[+] Retesting fixes
[+] Providing balance and gameplay feedback
[+] Helping shape Synergy before a wider release
