Over a years worth of work has gone into this, granted it is not perfect. But we have a working Destiny 2 Shadowkeep private server up and running, at last.
Yep, a few days after Bungie decided to announce they would un-vault all the old content.......
Anyway, I don't trust Bungie anymore so we are going ahead anyway.

A lot of work has been done on the backend but it is still early days. I have made it so the backend is designed to take on high availability so lots of users with multiple relays (P2P traffic), services (chat, fireteams etc) and session hosts (what binds together the game sessions).
My goal is to get it as close to the original as possible, with some QOL changes.
The project is rooted on my own reverse engineering work but a lot of improvements and advances have been made thanks to Project Sunrise.
The backend fully supports their scripting so hopefully as people submit the missions, open world and raid scripts, that will all feed into the private server.
The project is called D2c, aka Destiny 2 Classic.
