Client Side Translation

Hello everyone, sorry but I cant find a post on this.

Would someone please guide me on how to translate client-side buttons such as socials, eudemons evolution, kills, etc?

You would need to grab the English version of the buttons from an English client

Its dds file, if you want to change it go to folder data/interface/style01. Easy one is use English Version Client.

Thank you everyone, seems I can't match up the buttons in the Chinese client I have with any of the English one. The game works with the 1654 client but alot of things are missing that I cant figure out how to add, tried adding stuff from folders still missing icons for divine fire and other boxes.

Which file in Ini folder is for buttons?
Which folder in Data - Interface - Style01 is for at least main buttons?

my bad I read it wrong, ini folders only for text translation

There are many folder I think, but here the main bar one, data/interface/style01/newhud/newmain

But depend on clients, sometimes you need to extract the tpd/tpi

Send the .dds as image file to AI ( i use chat gpt) to translate and re image convert back to .dds

to find the specific dds name for the icons, this is what i did on 1655 (idk if it works on 1654 or later ver)

- login your [PM] acc, press F10 to open the GUI interface.
- from here, move your mouse to any buttons you want, and press Left ALT.

Example ; move your mouse to the "Trade" button and press Left ALT

- on the "ANI" in the GUI interface, it should say something like "Newmain_DownDealPic"
- then just search "Newmain" in your client folder (i assume you extracted the tpd/tpi) and it should show the button you were looking for and anything related to it
- once found, use AI to translate the icons or just rip directly from the official client

There is a file in ini folder named Package.ini - it lists all the TPI, TPD, and DNP files used. The TPI/TPD/DNP files are directly in the client folder.
Having issues extracting them to see which one is for buttons.

Will do process of elimination when I get some free time.

To translate buttons, I think it was
data_2.tpd
data_2.tpi

if you put files into the right directories it will read them before it reads the tpi/tpd , so find the english version files , copy their file structure locations and put the files in the same directories , and it will show the unpacked ones instead

here is the link i uploaded the rar file that someone else managed to unpack for me a couple years ago so i wont take credit or thanks for it , it has all the english buttons etc , just copy them into the directories and they will show up in game
