problems when using DMA

Good morning, I've been trying for days to get my DMA working... I have a CaptainDMA 75TV3.0 and my motherboard is an MSI Tomahawk B550. Could this be the problem? I've tried everything; if it's not that, could it be the DMA itself? I've even tried the factory firmware.

Have you tried contacting CaptainDMA directly?
Now that you paid the premium price anyway, I would expect some support :D

Updated BIOS, resetting CMOS? Also which PCIe slot is ur dma card in(were u told a specific one)
PCIe overview of ur motherboard:

100% agree, if they dont help. Post it. Because make no sense to pay 2-3x the cost then. Aliexpress/dhgate the cheapest!

I updated the BIOS and tried all the slots. I bought the card on AliExpress; it's one like this: [Only registered and activated users can see links. But I didn't read what it says in the MSI description about it not being compatible, but I asked on forums and Discord and they told me that shouldn't be the reason.

Don’t assume the MSI B550 Tomahawk is the problem. Since factory firmware failed in every slot, test the 75T in another main PC before replacing anything.

If it still isn’t detected there, the card, USB/JTAG connection or firmware is more likely the issue. Cookie has standalone cards and firmware if replacement is needed.

The B550 is known for being one of, if not the most problematic, motherboards when it comes to DMA and spoofing. This is something you should already know if you’re selling hardware to people.

OP’s issue is 100% related to the motherboard.
