5017 doesn't necessarily mean it has potancy. Hell my 5095 server I had pot only calculate as a number and have absolutely no effect in pvp... it's all personal choice.

I'd agree though.. 5017 aint really very classic..

Hope you will make a real Classic CO server. Or don't post it as "classic"...

Just because the title is Classic CO doesn't mean its classic. And if you really thinking about it, TQ is at like patch 5230 or something and his server is only 5017, thats quite a difference.

There is no feature from the 5017 client in this server.(only client side maybe)

No db Level
No xp ball
No cps

If you are removing all those features then why bother with a 5017 patch? why not go for early 2.0 (4300 something?) Would make alot more sense in the long run.

Ps: You will not be able to support a proper vps or dedi off simply ads on your website.. I'd suggest looking for balanced ways for donations to work (don't sell money/cp/items/level or anything... instead sell something like features or slightly improved rates for those who donate.)

I got used on LOTF source/ Power Source( actualy this 1 is LOTF) and I've never worked on a 4000 source :P

any "Classic" server should run on a source before patch 4351.. thats when everything really went to hell.. also the time of the infamous Mystic Merchant NPC.. hehe

The server is not 24/7 yet cuz I need to find an application similar to appserver for linux or just to know how I make a reg page on Linux
