Does the Trust Factor play a role in bans?

If you create a new account, is it more likely to get banned due to reports than an old account?

Another question: how can you tell whether you’ve received an account ban or an HWID ban?

3. I am not sure if there is even a need to differentiate between them.
If you get an HWID ban, you will be banned within 2 hours.

There are exceptions, and sometimes it takes up to 24 hours to get banned.

Yes, they do last longer in terms of manual review and possibly even server-side analysis, but if the cheat is detected then it doesn't matter how old or new your account is.

They mentioned this in an interview about their anti-cheat system, explaining that one of their goals is to combat account selling and theft because cheaters often buy aged accounts with established stats, which makes manual inspection and machine learning analysis less effective in the long run.

in the first hours of gameplay machines running new accounts go through a series of tests, ranging from statistic thresholds, to aggressive anti-debug and anti-vm tests.
if you have a slow PC like a quad core and you monitor CPU load/temperature you will notice it runs heavier.
after 2-3 days of gameplay they leave you alone and you can notice that your PC runs lighter and cooler if you are paying attention.

Aged accounts are technically better that's why most still buy after getting banned

Nobody really knows how much trust factor affects bans, but newer accounts may get more attention if they receive a lot of reports. As for hwid, try a fresh account on the same pc. If that gets banned too, it's probably an hwid ban

True basically, you can simply know you're HWID banned if you make a new account and you get banned upon using it
