New EAC Identifier

Hey guys.

Just wanted to ask if anyone knew what this supposed new EAC identifier actually was, how it was queried or any information about it.

To my understanding, it has since been removed, though I am still unsure.

From my personal experience and various testing, all of my own testers and have turned up fine from simply manually spoofing. (Conducted in the past 1-4 weeks).

I've heard a lot about this "New EAC Identifier" but much less about the what this new identifier actually is, so if anyone has information about it, I'd appreciate being roped in.

Sure, it may be useless to inquire about it now, but its's for interest sake.

It's very interesting, those that do now about it like SauceMachine and miscellaneous dev's that may or may not be larping about it don't want to share it and are gatekeeping it.

It's always the "I dont want the skids to know about it", but its really pointless in all honestly, it leads me to believe that it may not even exist and providers are just using it as a new selling point.

The only person that claims to even know is sauce from reported but he is greedy and doesn't want to share the knowledge probably in hopes of having the only working spoofer and charging an even higher monthly fee. If you figure it out please post it just to fight back at stupid eac

This has nothing to do with greed. I spent two months building the analysis tools and another two weeks on the actual analysis, and the work still is not complete. Expecting me to hand the results over to the entire industry for free is absurd.

I share technical knowledge on this forum all the time, but I am not going to publish the core research behind my own product simply because you are frustrated that you do not have the answer.

The claim that I am withholding it so I can raise our prices is also completely fabricated. We have maintained the same prices for over five consecutive years, and I have never said anything about increasing them. Criticize me if you want, but at least base it on something I have actually said rather than motives and pricing plans you invented yourself.

You do share technical advancements and information regularily on here SauceMachine, but that doesn't void the fact that you are 'gatekeeping' this information. In the past you've been devoted to sharing information that you've learnt in order to 'help' the community against certain Anti-cheats, yet this time you haven't

Sure the idea of this being a'selling point' may be a tad bit far-fetched. But you claim that you don't want to suddenly release information on the core research you have been committed too. and that is completely fair, but we are not frustrated that we have a problem that is unasnwered, we're frustated that big names in the community, which seemingly and evidently is primarily is you Sauce, are holding this information to themselves and not sharing it for some bogus purpose, then we become frustated.

The matter of the fact is that this type of research should be publicised, and sure that is my own opinion, but honestly this type of gatkeeping of new information is honestly laudable to me, before you say we are frustrated at having issues we can't solve, remind yourself of the possibility that we are frustrated at the fact that a name like SauceMachine is now withholding information as such, like he has never before.

The community and people surrounding you will continue to make assumptions based on the purpose of gatekeeping this information, and there is nothing you can do about that sort of privated information.

I honestly think it's unintelligent to hold information like this, this type of information should be found and shared publically, this is not a community for people to hide things from each other regarding any type of serial changing or what the anti-cheats query.

I urge you to publicise this, for your and the communities sake.

I think it may have something to do with UEFI and the anti cheats detecting the change from booting the windows EFI or something along those lines. At least that is what someone told me I have no idea 💡💡

Calling it "gatekeeping" does not make you entitled to months of private research. I share technical information voluntarily, but that does not obligate me to publish everything I discover. You are free to reverse it and publish your own findings.

It makes sense if they're gatekeeping it so they're ahead of their competitors, still your other theory sounds interesting
