Vanguard Update

05/19/2026 11:44 chrisklarborg#1
Yesterday Vanguard had a pretty big update, and I made this thread so everyone can stay informed about changes and share new information. We’re a community here after all.

• Heino 2 patched
• SSD firmwares patched
• VT-D firmwares patched
• Bootkit based cheats are patched/detect, most can't even boot without BSOD
• Some SMM providers got waved
• Some providers using hypervisors got waved

People been saying for a while that going the DMA/Heino route was a bad option, and honestly this update makes that look like a pretty solid point now

I mean, you can’t really compare spending $3–6K on a device to just $300 on a cheating setup. Plus, all of the others ended up getting banned, not just restricted(from what i was told). I’d still go with DMA over all of them

DMA either got blocked or started catching bans again so you can't really rely on it  This always happens. Meanwhile I'm watching some 1PC providers and a few didn't seem to have issues with this update or even the previous one, which was the first big VGK update focused on 1PC in like a year.

Well, you've found out the most obvious one.
What about our security update from reverse engineering or new level of detection?

I'm just sharing information so people can know and make their own decisions :mindblown: Trying to help the community, not gatekeep information and act smart.
