Ban risk with scripts

I've never cheated before and I basically have no idea whats safe and what isn't, but i cba to keep playing legit when a good amount of people in the comp scene are cheating. I had a look at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and decided on ClubPegasus with the 2PC+MakCu setup (open to other stuff as long as you're not trying to sell me your own stuff). Since I'm very new to cheating, I really don't want to get banned on my main, so how likely are you to stay undetected from EAC with scripts? I've read that scripts are way safer than ESP or just normal cheats in general, but I don't really want to get banned after just a few days or weeks.

2PC scripting is about as safe as “cheating” gets, so I would not worry. As long as you dont use any 1PC setups, you should be fine. Stay away from providers advertising 1PC with Makcu/Ferrum as “safe”, thats generally a sign that they have no idea what they are doing. Exception of course is a 1PC setup with some device that replaces the second PC, like a Raspberry Pi or something similar.

Most scripts will have humanization options that let you add randomness to various parts of the recoil. Use them if you want to be extra careful. Some servers have additional custom "anti cheat" measures/plugins, but those are often full of false positives and easily bypassable with humanization options. At worst you are risking a server ban which is not related to the anti-cheat itself, so its irrelevant.

Ofc, the most obvious solution is to just get a second account for peace of mind.

Most importantly, keep in mind that most anti cheats nowadays are still focused on software based and DMA cheats, since those are a bigger threat in their eyes. So I would not worry too much for the foreseeable future.

I wouldn't say it's safe to buy it for a long time. Everyone knows that DMA and other motherboards have been shut down, and they're also good at handling macros via 1PC. So their next target is mouse control using boards. Yes, it's safe now (depending on the firmware,makcu detect) But, for example, Arduino with custom firmware was banned within a month, so there is no guarantee that you will win for long.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion.

DMA detection is not comparable to scripting with devices like Ferrum or Makcu in any way.
“they're also good at handling macros via 1PC” is also far fetched. It took them more than five years to get a good grip on software scripts.

Self made Arduino solutions are not comparable to the firmware running on devices like Makcu, Ferrum, or similar devices, which have full passthrough.

With full passthrough style firmware, there is no way for the PC to differentiate whether it is just your mouse or a mouse with Ferrum connected to it. The only option would be to look for heuristics, which is a whole topic on its own. Since anti cheats have to avoid false bans at all costs, it is not as easy as it sounds.

I think vanguard said the same thing a long time ago in their deep-dive Youtube analytics videos they did a while back.

They could push for detection vectors but it would affect normal users and would not be reliable due to how close 1:1 the makcu and ferrum is to a real device

This can be done with a Raspberry Pi Pico with custom firmware. Ive been using my own since the logitech macros were fixed and no detections at all really just depends on the devs.

Nope havent used any open source all custom made stuff.

But im sure it works very similiar.
